Trace
portrait using the "Pen" tool. Trace the light
and shadow parts as well.
Use
the "Eyedropper" tool to pick colors from the
photograph. With those colors create a series of gradation
colors; then apply them to all of those traced shapes
one at the time. You can adjust the gradation using the
"Gradient" tool.
Fill
all the shapes with colors and gradient colors until the
drawing is done.
Put
the portrait into a rectangular format layout. Add some
ornaments and type.
Color
the ornaments and the type. Also add shadow to the portrait
to make it stand out. Now, a card for daddy is ready!
